Job description:
As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will work as part of one of our Professional Services (PS) teams engaging directly with our clients to develop world class customer experience solutions using the company’s portfolio of Digital First Engagement (DFE) products.
Senior Technical Consultants carry out the following activities within the timescales and quality standards set by the project:
- Must have confidence to technically influence a team, review best practices, recommend approach, justify technical decisions at a project level.
- Provides effective communication with geographically distributed team members.
- Designs implements and tests complex software applications.
- Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test execution, and certification of software.
- Experience in Object Oriented analysis and design.
- Can provide peer advisement to other software engineers, through code/design reviews and peer-programming efforts.
- Knowledge of various Software Development Methodologies (particularly Agile) and experience in all stages of software development.
Requirements:
- A degree or post graduate qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4 years of experience in React is essential.
- 4 years Java Spring Boot industry experience is preferred.
- Experience with Automated Testing, SQL, Rest APIs.
- Working knowledge of distributed source control solutions such as GIT.
- Full stack Developer.
- Demonstratable experience of mentoring and supporting junior team members is essential.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Works well to deadlines.
- Teamwork skills.
- Client facing.
