Technical Sales Manager (m/f)
The job is based in Sarajevo but frequent travel will be required

The Technical Sales Manager identifies, makes contact with and builds relationships with potential customers in order to win new, profitable business in their assigned region. This position is accountable for creating and development of sales in the Balkans region.
Job Description:
  • Responsible for sales activities within all relevant industries related to company's scope of business (cold storage, food processing, etc)
  • Preparing and establishing sales objectives and goals by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and ensuring  that objectives and goals within sales are achieved
  • Client acquisitioning; identifying and developing sources of potential clients
  • Identifing new market opportunities
  • Creating and submitting financial and technical proposals to clients
  • Preparation of all necessary information for the Project management department in relation to agreed projects
  • Preparation of technical solutions and advice regarding choice of materials and equipment
  • Negotiations and finalization of sales
  • Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of competitor products, be able to highlight their disadvantages and promote relevant benefits.
  • Constantly monitor market trading conditions and customer specific strategic and operational factors to ensure that current, reliable market intelligence is procured upon which sound business judgments can be based
  • Creating and maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending relevant workshops;
  • Prior sales management experience with technical background,
  • Preferably Bachelor Degree in a technical field (Civil Engineering) or proven experience within the technical field
  • Preferably 5 years of experience within the food or construction industry
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience within the Balkans region
  • Exceptional communication and business networking skills with high level decision-makers
  • Ability to build relationships with customers at various functional levels
  • Professional selling skills – product knowledge, presentation, follow-up, and ability to close new business
  • Thorough understanding of market place dynamics including industry trends and assessment of key competitors programs
  • Good English skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently
