Founded in 2012, Mogo Finance is a rapidly growing auto loan provider operating in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Georgia, and is about to launch its business in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia and Kosovo. The company offers finance lease and leaseback services with the most convenient borrowing process for the customer. Successful development of Mogo Finance has been underpinned by custom-made in-house technology, efficient loan portfolio management and robust capital structure. As of today, we have funded more than 90 million EUR in loans and serve tens of thousands of satisfied customers. 
Due to further expansion, Mogo Finance is inviting ambitious professionals to apply for the position of:

Country Manager (m/f)
Location: Skopje, Macedonia

Mogo Finance is planning on opening a fin-tech company that will be providing a scope of financial services, including payday and consumer loans operating in emerging markets. The company aims to offer consumer finance and microfinance services to private individuals with the most convenient borrowing process for the customer. 

We are looking for an energetic person with a start-up mindset, who will provide leadership and develop the business from the grounds up. You will be in charge of things from the beginning, and you will have full autonomy in developing and running the business the way you find suitable. 

With great freedom comes great responsibility - your main tasks will be to:  
  • Launch of consumer finance business in Macedonia
  • Management of daily operational activities of the company
  • Hiring, training, and managing the team
  • Cooperation with and reporting to group management
  • Monitoring and analyzing the operating results of the company
  • Representing the company and negotiating with suppliers, partners
  • Building and maintaining an effective team
  • Developing company’s brand awareness and distribution channels
  • Comply with all mandatory requirements for members of management in financial companies according to the local law
  • Represent the company during the licensing process

Professional and general qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Economics, Management or Finances – MBA degree is preferred
  • At least 3 years of previous management experience in the finance industry after finishing the university degree
  • Match the requirements for members of management in financial companies according to the local law
  • Experience managing operations of customer care, debt collection, and marketing is preferred
  • Candidate must not have a criminal record or a history of administrative or tax irregularities, and must not been involved in past or pending criminal or tax related legal proceedings
